Have you asked God to forgive you for an ongoing sin that plagues you? These unconfessed sins can stop us from hearing God’s voice and following His will for our lives. For me, when I am caught in the sin of worry, I cannot follow God’s will or feel His joy in my life. It is only upon seeking forgiveness that I am released from worry’s hold as God puts that sin out of sight. As you prepare your heart to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus at Easter, ask God to show you where forgiveness is needed. Then, turn to Him with a repentant heart and experience the joy of having that sin be “put out of sight”.
