This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
Some days, it is difficult to find things to be joyful about. With kids screaming, deadlines to meet, volunteer obligations or financial pressures, we may experience anything but joy. Fortunately, we can choose to rejoice because there is always something to be glad about in the Lord. We can rejoice in His presence, goodness, faithfulness, love, comfort, justice, strength, or any other attributes that come into your thoughts. We can make this choice every day and God will give us the joy of His presence with us. Join your heart with His and start your day saying “This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it”.
