Where is God during the hard times? I’ve asked this question so many times as I’ve walked through difficult days and wondered why He has abandoned me. But, as I look back, it becomes clear that God was with me all along; it was my response to the circumstances that dulled my awareness of Him. To continue to feel God’s presence, seek Him. Look for Him in the faces of those around you, in the beautiful rainbow or sunset, the singing birds at sunrise, or within the Bible. Ask God to reveal His presence and let Him fill you with joy and gladness as you proclaim, “The Lord is great!”
